The Foxtail palm develops quickly and is quite adaptable. The palm can be grown in full sun to shade.The Foxtail palm doesn't have major pest problems.

Sabal palm


Sabal palm is a tree native to Florida and officially was designated to be the Florida state tree. Sabal palm is known as Florida palmetto, Cabbage palm, cabbage palmetto and Sabal Palmetto.
Sabal palm is tolerant of cold, drought, wind, salt, flooding, fire, hurricane, poor soil types and pests. It is cold hardy to 7-15 F and can be successsfully grown in zones 8 to 11.Sabal palm can grow in partial shade or full sun.
Sabal palm is a stately, rubust tree grows up to 50-90 feet tall with a spread of the crown from 10 feet to 20 feet.
Sabal palm may be propagated by seeds. Germination takes place in two weeks to four months.
